Land acquisition & planning

At Driftstone Homes, we’re always on the lookout for land. We have an excellent eye for recognising viable sites that have development potential and will serve the needs of the landowner, Driftstone buyers and importantly, the local community.

Immediate land requirements

  • Capacity for five to 25 dwellings with a minimum gross development value (GDV) of £3,500,000

  • Planning permission granted (outline or detailed) or potential for planning permission to be granted within a 2-year window

  • Located within the Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex areas

  • Will consider sites on an unconditional basis, subject to planning and or option agreements

  • Will also consider promotion agreements or joint ventures

Exploring your potential

We aim to achieve the best value for landowners and can assist in preparing a proposal for planning approval. If you think you have land with development potential, our specialist

Driftstone Homes team will:

  • Visit the site and conduct our own survey, producing a feasibility plan of the proposed development

  • Consult with planners and environmental consultants and use our trusted architects to take care of all aspects of the design, as well as access and design statements and sustainability appraisals

  • Deal with any negotiations, hearings and appeals once we have submitted a successful planning application

  • We will consider sites big or small and will work with individuals, businesses, agents and public sector organisations to orchestrate a successful land acquisition.
